The prefrontal cortex also affects how we self-regulate our behavior. Do neurotransmitters play a role in regulating your mood, adaptive behavior, and motivation? If so, how? If not, why not? Provide support using your course readings. Explain how neurotransmitters are tied into information transmission and mood creation? Explain how the dopaminergic pathway stimulates motivation.
